Introduction
The Symposium on Early Intervention and Inclusive Education 2021 (SIAP2021) is the first of its kind organized by the GENIUS Kurnia Centre, GENIUS Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia and is implemented virtually. The symposium is open to all educators from government agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as well as students of public and private Institutes of Higher Learning.
Objectives
- Improving educator’s skills in the areas of early intervention and inclusive education
- Sharing and exchanging best practices between organizations in the areas of early intervention education, inclusive education and special education
- Establishing cooperation with various parties, i.e government agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in order to jointly increase the potential of students with special needs in early intervention and inclusive education

- Registration of participants: 3rd August – 13th August 2021
- Submission of presenters’ abstracts: 9th August 2021 – 20th August 2021

- Submission of presenters’ video recordings: 20th September 2021 – 1st October 2021
