INTRODUCTION

GENIUS Kurnia is an early intervention centre for children with autism and their families. GENIUS Kurnia provides a high quality early intervention and education to children with autism to prepare them for the mainstream schools. Intervention strategies in GENIUS Kurnia incorporate evidence-based practice and naturalistic teaching with the cooperation between the transdisciplinary groups and active participation of parents.

Daily Programme

To prepare children with autism to enter mainstream classes in Year 1. This program operates from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday).

  • Preparatory Activities for Year 1

Community Education Program

Implemented to provide training and workshop to parents, educators, professionals and general public regarding autism, intervention strategies and related topics.

Mode 1: Weekend Workshop

The workshops is conducted in hybrid (face-to-face and online) where participants can communicate with the panelists during the question and answer session.

Mode 2: Online Courses

There are 2 courses available in E-Latih platform:

  • Pendidikan Awal Kanak-Knaka Berkeperluan Khas

Mode 3: Educational Visit
